Some of The Children :)

Meet Cherry, Kiki, Leo, Apple and Mason! They are one of the six rotations of Children in the day :) After opening where we welcome, sing songs, and talk about the weather, we take them to their first rotation! It's so funny, I say Hello everybody! I'm teacher Kim, can you say hello teacher Kim? and they say "Can you say hello Teacher Kim?" ha ha ha. Or it made me laugh cause I was like this is a fuzzy ball, what is it? It's a fuzzy ball, What is it? and they say "what is it?" ha ha ha It'll take a while, but everything is going to get so much better :) It's interesting cause as we stand outside the school and greet parents and children as they come in, there is a nurse who sits by the gates and feels every childs head for a fever before they come in! Also I'm walking to class and see the tiniest children in a straight line, they were the same age as my baby niece Vanessa!! I don't get how you could send your children to school so early!! It blew my mind! But the second picture is the children going to the room to get water, they have a boiling pot where they dip there cups in and drink. Oh and the girl holding the cup to her mouth is Karen... She is miss know it all and thinks she is a movie star, she walks the model walk and always has her head up high and she just is soo hilarious in the way she acts. ha ha And if you aren't paying attention to her, she grabs you by the chin and faces you at her. But she's awesome and good with her English! I'm growing to love the children so much. I felt so bad the other day, I had a little boy just cryin and all the children were crying because they missed their mom's and etc. So I thought this little boy was crying because he was homesick but it was actually because he had to go to the restroom!! Ahh I felt horrible ha ha. But I had no idea, so we are trying to work on the bathroom communication :) But everything has gone ok so far, it's hard stuff, lesson planning and a hot day of rotations, but I love it and am grateful to be here! So hello everybody, I'm teacher Kim :) .... Oh and Happy Labor Day!!!

Kim - those kids are cute! When you talk to Kiki, think of me, cause that's what my sister calls me. You are doing a wonderful job. I know things will get better and better each day. Do you see each group every day?
Love you
