Awh I love these babies!

She is just my favorite 2 year old! She always comes running up to me when I come in. She is soo petite and I love smiling with her :) She hasn't an english name yet, I'm still deciding! But the little boy holding the cup is the smallest in the class! I was kneeling down and singing songs aroung the kids the other day and he came up to me and he was the height of my tummy! He is soo cute and his eyes are so big. I can't even believe how you'd want to send your 2 year old to school, some even leave their children and they sleep at the school!! We are talking with our cordinator to see if we can tuck some of the children in at night :) But here is my camera! haha It's still trying to recover from it's fall in Beijing, it randomly decides to break sometimes, I'm praying it will last me the rest of my time here! I love my camera! If all fails I think I will find anyone here who can repair it!! Last resort is buying one I think. In China a lot of things are cheap, but not Cameras! haha

My Students, My Children, My Babies

This is my little boyfriend Jack :) haha He wouldn't stop speaking Chinese so we had to go to the last resort and bring out the tape!! But he liked being taped up, so it didn't really work for us! But I love Jack so much, he's so funny and cute! Little stinker...

In My Part of the World

This is baby Joy!! She is the cutest girl! She is the daughter
of the family who owns the tiny market down
on the street we go to and get sweets. Her mother let me give her
an English name :) So I gave her my middle name!!
I love playing with her whenever I can!

Guzhen is the 4th Largest Lighting Manufacturer in the World! So
on the main road and everywhere here, you walk down the street
and it's store after store after store or factory of lights,
light fixtures, chandeliers, bulbs, lamps... You name it, we got it :)
The world gets their lights from us :)

Our other neighbors down the road, We are blessed back at home
and we just don't even count those blessings as much as we should.

This is my next door neighbors, The Factory of I'm not sure what
they make in there. We think windows? But people are in there 24-7 and
the smoke just billows out all the time! It's sad...

This is our town's canal right by our place!! It's also called the
dump, sewer, drainage, and our toxic waste site haha, I hate
walking by this everyday the stench is horrible! It water bubbles
it's so toxic! Mmmm mmm

The little boy was playing with his stick rolling it back and
forth while his Father watched him. Lines and lines of factories are
down this street. It's beautiful here in China.

How I Clean In China

Oh this is how I clean our floors here :) I forget that my washing machine is left on and create a soap sud over flow hahaha, so we made the best of the suds and water outside by bringing it in the kitchen and playing :) The floor was so slippery and fun it was so hard to stay on two feet haha, I felt like I was iceskating :) Total work out though on your legs! We got our kitchen floor nice and clean, not to mention our feet! What a night! I think this is how I'll be cleaning the rest of the apartment floors, forget the bucket and mop haha, we get crazy here :)

October is slipping!!

Sue and I found the roof to our apartment!!! It is our favorite place in the world! The air seems a bit cleaner and it's nice to feel like we are away from everything! This is our backyard, our neighbors and our home! I'm going to go up on the roof on days it's sunny and read or sketch! It's my little paradise up there and the view is gorgeous!... Packages!!!! Ahh I love you so much Family!! It is honestly the best thing in the world and you just don't realize how special and important a package is until you need one :) haha Michelle and Jeff! I loved yours sooo much!!!!! The spaghettiO's.. oh my :) I was in complete happiness when I saw them! I've been snacking on the skittles everyday :) Dad, Mom, Arianne and Laura I absolutely loved your package so so much!! I saved what I could and I'm eating the potato pearls and goldfish anway! The milk and fruit loops are heaven!!!! I ate the pasta dish too and oh my... I couldn't believe how amazing it was!!! I taped the letters up on my wall and I love reading them!! Thank you thank you thank you for loving me and sending me packages!!!!!!!
This picture is of a baby down at the market I could see from my window! Ha ha she was just playing with her little feet rocking back and forth! I was like where is her mother?? So I just watched from the window for a half hour the baby playing by herself on the chair. She was absolutely the cutest baby in the world! Her mother eventually came back out :)
To the picture of Catherine, me and the man! These are garbage can yams!!!! And they are the yummiest things on the planet! You have to find the man with the right garbage cans to get them :) He just has a fire going on in that garbage can and he sits yams on top and lets them bake all day! He also has chestnut type things he roasts in coals! Those were ok, but haha I'm the biggest fan of the yam and I'm going to be scouting the poor little man out for the "garbage can yams" :)...The watermelon!! We had a celebration on the 10th! Catherine our foreign cordinator has now been with us a month and so we celebrated by eating a watermelon!! She has been the best help to us and we couldn't do it without her! I love her so much and she's become like a sister and is part of the ILP family here in Guzhen!! She is our awesome Chinese Teacher too! I'm learning tons :) I'll need to make a post about that! But October is slipping by fast! We have the huge Halloween Celebration coming up with the kids we are all so excited for!! 64 days left in China!! I can't believe how fast time goes by! I love it here and it'll be hard to part from my home I've made.
