General Conference breakfast!! I woke up to the smell of bacon! The girls and I all woke up and helped wonderful Malena prepare the most amazing breakfast I've ever had! I was just full of tears that morning because it reminded me so much of home, preparing a meal and I finally finally felt we are really a family here! The spirit was so strong this morning and we ate our
breakfast just smiling and crying :) It was the most yummiest breakfast too with toast and jam, eggs that had tomatoes, peppers and onions, we ate grapes and watermelon, and rasberry crystal light juice :) (thank you Mom!!) We spent the rest of the morning showering and getting real nice for Conference! We were so excited we got it downloaded!!! It was the most spiritual conference of my life and I loved every single talk! I never really fully appreciated or really understood the importance of World Wide Broadcasting!
I was so grateful that being in the middle of China we were still able to watch it! I loved Sister Silvia H. Allred's talk because I thought of Amanda the whole time on her mission in Albuquerque! She is such an example in my life right now! I loved Bro. Neil L. Anderson's right after when he said "You don't know everything, but you know enough"... such an amazing statement. I loved the patterns of the shopper by Elder Russell M. Nelson haha, and the "jump the rope" that Elder Oswald said made me smile so much!
"Every cloud we see doesn't result in rain" was another of my favorites by Elder Cook. I could go on!! I loved conference this year and it's helped me become and want even more to be a better person, friend, daughter and individual! I can't wait to get the ensign so I can study up more on the talks! I love this gospel so much and I know it's true, I'm grateful for the scriptures and know they are real! Heavenly Father is real and I know that he loves me! The atonement is a part of my life and I'm grateful for it. I struggle, but so does everybody, so I'm grateful that I have a loving Father in Heaven to be there for me!
